DLTFC approves 28 JKREGP scheme cases sponsored by KVIB Jammu

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (JKVIB), Jammu today convened a meeting of the District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) under the Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP).

During the meeting, a total of 35 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) cases were placed before the Committee, out of which 28 cases were approved, 3 cases were deferred and 4 applicants remained absent.

The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Vidhu Shekhar, under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Rakesh Minhas, who is also the Chairman of the JKREGP Scheme.

The meeting was attended by Lead District Manager (LDM), Ajay Thapa; Mallu Sharma from Jammu & Kashmir Bank; Abhishek from Regional Office Jammu, representative from Jammu & Kashmir Grameen Bank (JKGB), District Industries Centre (DIC), Director ITI Jammu, Director RSETI and District Officer, JKKVIB Jammu.

The Committee reviewed the cases in detail and emphasized timely financial support and effective implementation of the JKREGP scheme to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship among local youth.DD
