Srinagar:DD, The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday announced the postponement of the provincial holiday on account of Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA) in the Kashmir Division.
According to Government Order No. 1358-JK(GAD) of 2025, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, In partial modification of Government Order No. 2193-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated: 29.12.2024, it is hereby ordered that the provincial holiday (Kashmir Province only) on account of “Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib” shall now be observed on 20.10.2025 (Monday) instead of 18.10.2025 (Saturday).
