LG Sinha Orders Transfer IPS, JKPS Officers

Srinagar: DD, The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Thursday issued orders transferring and posting multiple IPS and JKPS officers with immediate effect, officials confirmed.

An official order issued by the Principal Secretary to the government, in the directions of LG Manoj Sinha stated, Abdul Ghani Mir, IPS (AGMUT:1994) has been appointed as Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence, and SDRF, replacing Alok Kumar, Mohd Yaseen Kichloo, IPS (AGMUT:2013), SSP CICE Jammu, has been transferred as Principal STC Talwara.


Other key IPS postings include Shobhit Saxena as SSP Security J&K, Tanushree as SSP Pulwama, Sahil Sarangal as SSP Handwara, Mohita Sharma as SSP Kathua, and Anayat Ali Choudhary as SSP Kulgam.

Among JKPS officers, Mohd Arif Rishu has been posted as Director CTC Lethpora, Benam Tosh as Deputy Director SKPA Udhampur, and Harmeet Singh Mehta as Commandant 13 IR. Several officers have also been assigned Dy.CO and Addl. SP posts in various formations to ensure operational readiness and administrative efficiency across the UT.

Officials said the reshuffle is aimed at strengthening law enforcement and ensuring better coordination among security and administrative units. (KNC)
