DC Kargil Conducts Midnight Surprise Inspection at District Hospital Kargil

Kargil, DD, In his first surprise visit since assuming charge, Rakesh Kumar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner and CEO of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, conducted an unannounced midnight inspection at the District Hospital Kargil, Kurbathang on Saturday.

The inspection covered various sections of the hospital, including patient wards, staff attendance, emergency services, medical stores, and attendent rest room to assess the availability and quality of services during late-night hours.

Addressing the hospital staff, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of punctuality, dedication, and sincerity in the discharge of duties, particularly in critical public service sectors like healthcare.

He further cautioned that such surprise inspections could occur at any government institution, underscoring the administration’s focus on accountability and improved public service delivery.

“The welfare of the people remains our top priority. Every government employee must ensure that essential services are delivered efficiently, round the clock,” DC Rakesh Kumar stated.DD
