Action Will Follow Against Fake Content, Warns Cyber Police Kashmir

Srinagar, (DD):Cyber Police Kashmir today issued a stern warning to social media users, cautioning them against circulating fake or misleading information online, and stating that violators would face legal consequences.

In a post on X, the Cyber Police said that certain accounts were found disseminating “fake and doubtful information” with the intent to mislead the public.

“All users are advised to refrain from posting such content,” the Cyber Police stated, adding that any violations would be dealt with strictly under the law.

The warning comes amid growing concerns over the spread of misinformation across digital platforms in the region.(DD)
