Mendhar: DD,To commemorate Army Day an interactive session was organised at Girls Middle school, Mendhar. The event was aimed at motivating students to consider a career in the armed forces.The event was attended by 57 students and 21 teaching staff .
The session was conducted by Mendhar Town Company commander of the local Rashtriya Rifles Battalion,
, Mendhar who shared inspiring stories of bravery, discipline, and dedication. The officer highlighted the significance of the armed forces in safeguarding the nation and emphasized the values of selflessness and patriotism. Students were given detailed information about the various entry schemes to join the forces, such as NDA, CDS, technical entries, and opportunities for women through SSC and other programs.
The officer also encouraged students to develop qualities like physical fitness, mental resilience, and leadership skills, which are essential for a career in the armed forces.
The session concluded with a heartfelt message, urging students to contribute to the nation in any capacity while keeping the spirit of service alive. The event inspired many young minds, leaving them motivated to explore opportunities in the armed forces and serve the country with pride and honor.DD
