Kargil, DD: School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Kargil, today organized an awareness-cum-counselling program for the students of Suru Valley Public School, Kargil. The program was attended by students, teaching faculty, and the Principal.
Dr. Zahid Abass Wazir delivered a brief PowerPoint presentation about the institute, the admission procedure, and the eligibility criteria for the B.Sc. Agriculture and B.Sc. Horticulture courses introduced for the first time in Ladakh by the University of Ladakh. He highlighted the opportunity for students to pursue a professional degree in these fields within their hometown.
Following this, Dr. Kausar Fatima delivered an inspiring lecture on the prospects, scope, and career opportunities available after completing a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture or Horticulture.
The program concluded with a fruitful and interactive session between the resource persons, students, and faculty members.DD
