Police-Paramilitary deployed in GMC Jammu

Jammu: DD, The unidentified injured person, who sustained injury in alleged cross firing, has reportedly succumbed.
Although the identity of the person has not been revealed, the officials said that a police team chased the alleged drug peddlers in Phallian Mandal in Satwari.
During the chase, they said the police were as pelted with stones and allegedly fired upon. In retaliation, the police official said that the team opened fire in which one person sustained injury.
The injured were evacuated to the GMC Jammu. However, he reportedly succumbed.
However, the official confirmation is awaited about the entire incident.
Meanwhile, the deployment of police and paramilitary has been made in the premises of the GMC Jammu to avert any kind of unwanted situation.
The investigation into the matter is in progress.DD
