Jammu, R.S. Pura (J&K, India): Troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday claimed to have seized a suspected nano-drone in the Joura Farm area, close to the Indo-Pak international border in Jammu district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Security agencies said they received an intelligence input about a nano-drone sighted in open fields in Joura Farm village near Border Out Post (BOP) Nawapind.
Acting swiftly, BSF troops, along with other security agencies, rushed to the spot and seized the nano-drone.

The drone has been taken into custody for technical assessment, and further investigation is underway.

Pertinently, Pakistan has often used drones to drop drugs and arms across the border into Indian territory, according to security agencies.

Recently, an encounter with terrorists in the Billawar tehsil of Kathua district has already put the security apparatus on high alert along the International Border and the Line of Control. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops,DD
