Rajouri,TDD,In a remarkable display of community service and dedication, the Indian Army Territorial Unit at Palma has organized a ‘Blood donation camp’ to mark the platinum jubilee of the raising of Territorial Army. This significant milestone, celebrating 75 years of the Territorial Army’s service to the nation, was honoured with a compassionate and impactful initiative aimed at saving lives. The event organised under the theme “Rakat Daan Mahadaan” was not to only celebrate the historic achievement but also to address the pruning need for blood donations, which are crucial for medical emergencies and routine healthcare needs. The blood donation camp received overwhelming support from volunteer’s donors which compromised of a healthy mix of Indian Army personal and volunteers from all walks of life. The drive was facilitated in collaboration with the Military hospitals and blood banks, ensuring that all donations were efficiently collected and processed. The event was marked by a spirit of camaraderie and generosity, reflecting the deep-rooted ethos of the Territorial Army.TDD
