Leh, DD, The team from the District De-Addiction Centre (DDAC) Leh, led by DDAC Manager Mr. Thinlay Norboo, held a meeting with the Merchant Association to discuss the growing concern of drug use among youth in the region.
Mr. Norboo highlighted the issue of continued availability of banned products such as “Cool Lip” in the market, despite restrictions in both districts. He appealed to the association to extend their cooperation in supporting enforcement efforts and promoting a drug-free environment.
He also encouraged the association to help spread awareness about the services offered by the District De-Addiction Centre, which is currently functioning at the Ladakh Heart Foundation in Agling. Mr. Norboo emphasized the importance of community support in addressing substance abuse and guiding those in need toward proper help.DD
