Delegation from Turtuk Extends Gratitude to Hon’ble CEC Tashi Gyalson for Sanctioning of Handang Brok–Zangpal Road under CRIF

Leh, DD, Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, was called on by a delegation from Turtuk led by Executive Councillor Ghulam Mehdi and BJP Nubra District President/ Councillor Panamik, Tsering Sangdup.

The delegation included BJP Turtuk Mandal President Mohd Musa, Nambardar Abdul Karim, Ex-Sarpanch Tyakshi Adv. Mohd. Nasir, Ex-Naib Sarpanch Turtuk Rahmat Ullah, and Ghulam Hussain Kotwal Farool.

The delegation expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the CEC for the sanctioning of the Handang Brok–Zangpal Road under the CRIF scheme, with a project cost of ₹229.52 crore. They stated that this was a long pending demand of the people of Turtuk which has finally been fulfilled, owing to the constant efforts and support of the Chairman/CEC Tashi Gyalson.

The delegation also extended their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari, MoS Harsh Malhotra, and Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra for their support.

This important infrastructure project is expected to significantly improve road connectivity and boost socio-economic development in the region.DD
