Congress holds protests in Jammu against killing of minorities in Bangladesh

Jammu: J&K Congress Pradesh Party held a protest demonstration in Jammu City over the killings of minority community members in Bangladesh and asked Central Government to act tough to ensure the safety and security of minorities.
The protest was organized here at Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu in which large number of senior leaders, ex-ministers, ex-legislators, prominent functionaries, DCC Presidents and frontal wings participated and raised strong slogans against Bangladesh Govt.
Led by Working President, Raman Bhalla alongwith others leaders held the demonstration shouting slogans against the killing of innocent people.
Asking Central Govt to act tough to ensure the safety and security of minority communities in Bangladesh, Raman Bhalla said that entire nation is outraged and angry over the barbaric incidents in Bangladesh.
“The barbaric incidents in Bangladesh are intolerable and our leader Priyanka Gandhi had expressed serious concern and anguish over these incidents in the Lok Sabha and drawan the attention of the Govt,” he added.
Meanwhile, the chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma expressed grave concern over the emerging situation in Bangladesh and in other neighboring countries, who are turning hostile to India, which shows the failure of Modi Government’s foreign policy and demanded to review the situation.DD
