LEH,DD, Chairman/CEC of LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, today conducted a focused inspection of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Agling, with a particular emphasis on the significant landscaping efforts underway for the new park development at the site.
The visit underscores the administration’s commitment to enhancing public spaces and infrastructure in the region.
CEC, accompanied by Executive Officer of the Municipal Committee Leh, Stanzin Rabgais, and key engineers from the Igoo-Phey divisions, undertook a detailed assessment of the area. Officials provided a comprehensive briefing on the various stages of the park’s development, highlighting progress in design and execution.
The park project, situated alongside the crucial sewage treatment infrastructure, aims to transform a functional utility area into a community asset, offering recreational opportunities and contributing to the aesthetic appeal of the Agling vicinity.
CEC expressed considerable satisfaction with the progress, commending the teams involved for their diligent efforts.
