Udhampur : TDD,An information was received at PS Udhampur that a dead body of one Male namely Mohd. Yaqoob S/O Sain Ali R/O Mourd, Thatta was lying in the bushes near NHW, Moud area under the jurisdiction of PS Udhampur.
Upon receiving this information, a case FIR 498/2024 was registered under Section 103 BNS at Police Station Udhampur, and investigation initiated.
Through meticulous examination of evidence and the analysis of technical data, the investigation progressed rapidly, leading to a breakthrough. Several suspects were rounded up and interrogation carried on. During questioning one person
namely Abdul Ghani, son of Hussain Ali, a resident of Moud Bali, Tehsil and District Udhampur confessed that he had murdered the deceased due to monetary dispute. He was arrested immediately and vital evidence like weapon of offence was also seized. Further investigation of the case is going on.TDD
