Leh, DD, Deputy Commissioner Leh, Romil Singh Donk (IAS) chaired a meeting to review the preparedness for the 79th Independence Day -2025 celebrations on August 4 at Conference Hall , DC Office Leh.
The meeting deliberated on various aspects of the event arrangements, including the venue; the programme schedule, comprising flag hoisting, speeches, marching contingents and band performances, as well as cultural presentations; construction of the pavilion; security arrangements; installation of the public address system; provision of refreshments and drinking water; medical facilities; preparation and distribution of invitation cards; seating arrangements and venue decoration; traffic management; and the planned air show by the Indian Air Force.
Emphasizing the significance of the celebration, the Deputy Commissioner, Leh directed the concerned officers to ensure that all necessary arrangements are completed well in advance to facilitate the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
