Horticulture Department Khaltse Successfully Conducts 2 Days Farmer Traning Programme

Kargil: DD: The Horticulture department, Khaltsi in collaboration with Tata Trust conducted a two-day farmer training and demonstration programme regarding Canopy management practices in fruit trees on 27th Feb and 3rd March 2025 at Mangu, Nurla and Temisgam villages.


During the programme,
Mr Goba Ali (Resource Person) was the technical expert in the field practically shown the farmers Grafting techniques and Dr Stanzin Angmo Horticulture Development Officer Khaltsi, interact with the farmers to show practical demonstration of pruning (cutting) practices in apricot and apple fruit trees for higher production. Around 150 farmers from five villages participated in the programme including ex-Sarpanch and village Nambardar. Lastly from Horticulture Department distributed tool kit sets among the farmers.DD
