301 aspirants to appear for UPSC Civil Services Examination at EJM College Leh on May 25, 2025

DC Leh Advises Aspirants on timely travel to the designated centre

Leh, DD, The Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, chaired a preparatory meeting today to examine the preparedness for the upcoming UPSC Civil Services Examination, scheduled for May 25, 2025 at the Conference Hall, DC Office Leh.
A total of 301 aspirants are appearing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination at EJM College Leh.
The meeting was attended by UPSC Inspecting Officer, Additional Superintendent of Police, along with the Venue Supervisor, Custodian, Magistrate, Invigilators, and Jammer representatives. The primary objective of the meeting was to provide orientation and training on examination protocols, including instructions on distribution of question booklets, seating arrangements, and proper method for filling out OMR sheets.


While reviewing the arrangements, DC Leh highlighted the significance of the Civil Services Examination in shaping the future of the aspirants. He urged all officials involved to carry out their responsibilities with utmost precision, stressing that even minor lapses could jeopardize the hard work and year-long preparation of the candidates.
DC Leh urged all aspirants to arrive at the exam hall on time.
He advised all the aspirants to enter the examination hall thirty minutes before the scheduled time, as the examination centre’s main gate will be closed strictly thirty minutes prior to the scheduled start, with absolutely no exceptions for late entry.
The UPSC exam will proceed in two shifts at EJM College Leh on Sunday: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
To ensure the integrity of the examination process, signal jammers and heightened security measures will be implemented. The UPSC Inspecting Officer emphasized the importance of vigilance among all invigilators and venue inspectors to prevent any form of misconduct.
The session concluded with a strong message of commitment towards conducting the exam in a fair, transparent, and efficient manner.DD
