Udhampur:DD, Udhampur Police attached properties worth crores of a notorious drug peddler in Udhampur including a 3 BHK Flat at Mohali, Punjab and 03 trucks bearing regd. Numbers JK14J-1718, JK14J-0018, JK14J-0618 belonging to the said drug peddler, under Section 68-F(2) of the NDPS Act 1985.
The properties were identified as illegally acquired property during the course of an investigation carried out by SDPO Chenani DSP Sheikh Tahir, SHO Chenani Insp Jaswinder Singh and PSI Ravinder. The properties were found to be acquired from illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances by the owner, who is presently under judicial custody in Case FIR No. 167/2023 under sections 8/15/25/29 of the NDPS Act, lodged at District Jail Udhampur.This operation reaffirms the commitment of Udhampur Police to combat the drug menace from the district.DD
