Three more from Badhaal village admitted in GMC Rajouri

Authorities declare affected village as contaminated zone

Rajouri: DD,Atleast three more patients were today hospitalized at Government Medical College in Rajouri after they fell ill under the mysterious disease at their native village Badhaal.
“Three more people from the same village developed some ailments and therefore, they were rushed to the hospital for treatment,” said a local.
Meanwhile, one person, Aijaz Ahmed, who was admitted yesterday at the GMC Rajouri, after his health condition became serious was airlifted to PGI Chandigarh for specialized treatment.
Besides, the authorities have also declared the village Badhaal as a containment zone, restricting unauthorized gathering and the houses of the victims were sealed for investigation purposes.
The zones were divided into three zones. The authorities have ensured essential commodities, and other facilities for the residents.
So far, 17 lives, including children, have been lost in the tragic mysterious disease.DD
