Department of Social Welfare Organizes Nukkad Natak on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

Kishtwar, DD, In an effort to raise awareness and promote the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan,” the Department of Social Welfare organized a Nukkad Natak in Kishtwar.

The event, which aimed to address the growing issue of substance abuse, was conducted at prominent public places, including the Bus Stand Kishtwar and Historic Chowan Ground Kishtwar, attracting the attention of a large number of local residents.

The Nukkad Natak was carried out under the close supervision of DC Kishtwar, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Shavan, JKAS, and the able guidance of DSWO Kishtwar, Zubair Ahmed (JKAS), who ensured the event’s successful execution.

Through the performance, participants emphasized the harmful effects of drug addiction and encouraged individuals to be a part of the national initiative for a drug-free society.

Similar Nukkad Nataks will also be conducted at prominent places in all Subdivision of Kishtwar including Subdivision Paddar, Subdivision Chatroo, and Subdivision Marwah.

The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan is a nationwide campaign launched by the Government of India, focusing on educating the public, especially the youth, about the dangers of substance abuse and promoting healthier, drug-free lifestyles.DD
