Jammu,TDD: All J&K Gujjar – Bakerwals Organisation Coordination Committee has expressed its concern over the treatment being meted out to the Government Employees of the Community.
The Chairman of the Coordination Committee Anwar Chowdhary Advocate in his press statement has alleged that Community has very meagre representation in the administration, but whatever little representation it has even that is being step motherly treated.
He said that almost all the IAS and IPS Officers, Doctors, Engineers have been sidelined and placed in very insignificant postings.
He alleged that none of the officers have been posted as head of the district administration.
Anuwar Chowdhary said that Gujjar- Bakerwal officers have proved themselves quite honest performers and efficient in the discharge of their duties. But unfortunately, the successive Governments have continuously ignored the Gujjar employees.
He has stressed upon the Govt. to Shun discriminatory attitude towards the Gujjar employees, failing which the Coordination Committee shall be constrained to come on the roads for protecting the rights of its employees.TDD
