Article 370 resolution: BJP leaders’ storm into well, accuse NC of running ‘anti-national, Pakistani agenda’

BJP legislators raise slogans: ‘Jahan huway Balidan Mukherji, wo Kashmir Hamara hai, Bharat Mata ki Jai’

Srinagar, (TDD): Minutes after the J&K Assembly passed the crucial resolution on restoration of Article 370, all the legislators of BJP stormed into the Well of the House accusing National Conference of running Pakistani and anti-national agenda.

“Not acceptable to us,” the BJP leaders shouted amid slogans, as per The Diplomat.

BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma stood on the table and stated: “From 1947, NC has been playing with the sentiments of people of J&K.” Refusing to come out the Well of the House, l of the House, the BJP MLAs raised slogan, Jahan Huway Balidan Mukherji, wo Kashmir hamara hai, desh drohi agenda nahi chalega, Aug 5 Zindabad, Anti-national agenda nahi chalega, Bharat Mata ki Jai, Jai Shri Ram.”
The BJP leaders continued to protest and refused to come out of the well. “This is treason and we will not allow it,” BJP leaders shouted. “NC is a party that wants to change the name of Shankar acharya hills to Takhe-e-Sulaimani and Hari Parbat to Kohe-Maran.”
BJP leaders shouted, this is “Pakistani agenda.” BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma called Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary as “Jai Chand of Jammu and raised slogans, “Bharat Mata ki Jai, Jai Shri Ram”—(TDD)
