Helicopter services resumed in District Rajouri

RAJOURI:DD, The much-awaited helicopter services have been resumed for District Rajouri, bringing immense relief and convenience to the residents of this hilly and border district.

Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma inspected the facilities at the helipad site at sports stadium Kheora.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the resumption of helicopter services will prove highly beneficial for the general public, particularly in cases of medical emergencies, accidents, or any other urgent situations, where timely evacuation can save lives and ease hardship.

He added that the service will greatly facilitate the people residing in remote, hilly, and border areas of Rajouri district by improving accessibility and connectivity to other regions.

To ensure smooth operation and coordination of the helicopter services, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri, Malikzada Sheraz-ul-Haq, has been nominated as the Nodal Officer for the facility.DD
