White Water Rafting Expedition Flagged off by Tiger Division to Commemorate Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Indo-Pak War of 1965

Jammu: DD, To mark the Diamond Jubilee of victory in the Indo-Pak War of 1965, the GOC Tiger Division flagged off a White Water Rafting Expedition today from Jammu. The expedition, spanning over four days, will traverse the pristine and challenging waters of the Ganges from Rudraprayag to Rishikesh.

The expedition is a testament to the valor and sacrifices of bravehearts that led to the victory of the Indian Armed Forces in the 1965 war. The expedition also aims to promote adventure sports, national integration, and motivate the youth to engage in physical and adventurous activities.

The team of Tiger Division has undergone rigorous training to master the art of navigating their raft through the challenging water course and experience the thrill of the sport.

The expedition will also help the team imbibe teamwork, leadership, adaptability in challenging conditions, and the never-ending spirit to overcome the indomitable, apart from building physical strength and mental agility.DD
