BHADERWAH, DD: Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal today conducted a comprehensive inspection of local markets to ensure public safety, fair pricing, and hygiene standards.

The continuous downpour has resulted in water-logging, road blockades and minor damages, particularly on the interior road, disrupting normal life and causing concern among residents.

The ADC issued a public advisory urging the citizens to remain cautious and avoid movement in low-lying and flood-prone areas, especially near water bodies.

“The safety and well-being of the public remain our foremost priority. We are closely monitoring the weather situation and market activities to ensure timely response and civic order,” said the ADC during the inspection.

To enforce traffic discipline and civic order, action was taken against violators. Individuals riding without helmets were fined, while vehicles parked in no-parking zones were removed. Several vehicles were also seized for repeated violations.

The inspection was carried out in the presence of Tehsildar, SDPO, Executive Officer Municipal Committee and representatives from various departments. The coordinated effort aimed to maintain essential services, uphold administrative vigilance, and address public concerns amidst the ongoing weather challenges.DD
