Udhampur, The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps (16 Corps), accompanied by the GOC of Delta Force, visited the Brattal area of Majalta tehsil in Udhampur district to review the ongoing counter-terrorism operation and assess the ground situation following the neutralization of two terrorists.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed by commanders and troops on the progress of the operation, operational preparedness and the prevailing security situation. He also reviewed the operational dynamics and coordination among security forces engaged in the operation.
The Corps Commander emphasized maintaining a high level of vigilance, preparedness and coordination to ensure a swift and effective response to emerging security threats.
According to the Army, he commended the troops for their courage, resolve and commitment following the successful neutralization of two terrorists. He stressed the importance of sustained alertness and effective coordination during counter-terrorism operations.
Security forces continue to remain alert in the area and are maintaining operational readiness to respond to any emerging threats.
The White Knight Corps reiterated its operational message: “Stay alert, stay ready, and take decisive action—We Serve, We Protect.”
