Equally significant is the stability of maritime operations and international trade. The monitoring of Indian-flagged vessels in the Persian Gulf and the maintenance of stable port operations within India indicate that authorities are taking necessary steps to safeguard trade routes and maritime interests. Since a large portion of India’s external trade is conducted through sea routes, uninterrupted shipping activity is vital for economic continuity. The evolving situation also serves as a reminder of the importance of long-term energy planning. Strengthening domestic energy production, expanding renewable energy capacity, and improving energy efficiency are crucial strategies that can reduce vulnerability to global disruptions.
