School Enrolment Drive Held at Sumoor to Boost Admissions and Awareness


Leh: An enrolment drive was successfully conducted at Sumoor, Nubra, aimed at strengthening school admissions and enhancing community awareness about government educational initiatives.

Led by the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Nubra, the drive served as a vital interface between the education administration and the local community.

The team engaged in meaningful interactions with villagers and parents, sensitising them to the advantages of enrolling children in government schools and raising awareness about various provisions and benefits under the Samagra Shiksha scheme.

The initiative reinforced the administration’s commitment to ensuring inclusive, accessible, and quality education for all children in the region.

The programme was attended by Zonal Education Officer, Nubra, Sonam Dolker; Zonal Education Planning Officer, Leh, and Coordinator, Ladakh Model Schools, Chamba Tandar; Headmaster of Ladakh Model School, Ibex Colony, Sonam Gyalson; and Headmaster of Government Middle School, Sumoor.DD
