JAMMU, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid rich tributes to martyred Army officer Lieutenant Beereshwar Goswami, who made the supreme sacrifice while performing operational duties in Rajouri district. The Lieutenant Governor laid a wreath and paid homage to the brave officer, stating that the nation would always remember and honour his selfless service and sacrifice.
In a message shared on social media, Manoj Sinha expressed that the country will forever remain indebted to the supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty, and emphasized that the administration stands firmly with the family of the martyr in this difficult hour.
Lieutenant Goswami lost his life during an operational deployment in Rajouri while serving the nation with unwavering courage and dedication. His martyrdom has evoked widespread grief, with tributes pouring in from the civil administration, security forces, and people from different walks of life. Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, the Lieutenant Governor assured them of the steadfast support of the nation and prayed for strength to help them endure the irreparable loss. He added that the sacrifice of Lieutenant Beereshwar Goswami will continue to inspire generations and remain etched in the memory of the nation.
