Jammu, DIG JSK Range Shridhar Patil, IPS, chaired a meeting with personnel of the Headquarters Zone in Jammu to review policing, crime-related matters and public safety arrangements.
The meeting included a detailed review of crime cases, with emphasis on effective investigation, timely disposal of cases and close monitoring of emerging crime trends.
The DIG also reviewed patrolling arrangements and directed personnel to maintain effective area domination and remain vigilant during routine duties. He stressed the need for visible policing and prompt response to public grievances.
The meeting further focused on strengthening coordination among field personnel and ensuring professional, people-friendly and responsive policing.
Patil directed all personnel to perform their duties with dedication and maintain a high level of alertness to ensure the safety and security of the public. Jammu Police reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order, strengthening public safety and providing responsive policing to the people.
