Jammu, The Indian Institute of Management Jammu welcomed a delegation of students from International Delhi Public School to its Jagti Campus on 5th Aug 2026 for an enriching educational visit aimed at providing young learners with first-hand exposure to the academic excellence, world-class infrastructure, and vibrant learning environment of one of India’s premier management institutions.
A total of 40 enthusiastic students, accompanied by three teachers, visited the Institute as part of an academic exposure programme. The delegation was warmly received by the Media and Publication Division of IIM Jammu.
The visit commenced with a guided tour of the Institute’s state-of-the-art campus, introducing students to its modern academic and learning facilities, including the technologically enabled classrooms, the knowledge-rich Nalanda Library, the Vedanta Executive Education and Consultancy Block, the Mandapam Auditorium, and the Rangmanch Amphitheatre, a vibrant venue that promotes creativity, dialogue, and cultural expression.
The students also watched an engaging audio-visual presentation showcasing the remarkable journey, milestones, and achievements of IIM Jammu. They were subsequently briefed about the Institute’s diverse academic programmes, admission processes, and the opportunities available across various management disciplines.
The interaction underscored the importance of providing young learners with early exposure to premier institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), enabling them to broaden their academic horizons and gain insights into higher education. Such educational visits serve as a source of inspiration by nurturing curiosity, encouraging informed career aspirations, and helping students understand the pathways to academic and professional success. The session also emphasized the importance of building a strong academic foundation, cultivating critical thinking and innovation, and embracing lifelong learning to thrive in an increasingly dynamic and knowledge-driven world.
An engaging interactive session followed, during which the students enthusiastically explored various aspects of life at IIM Jammu, including its academic programmes, admission process, student activities, and unique learning ecosystem. The interaction also reflected the Institute’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible, globally competent, and future-ready leaders in alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, where students posed insightful queries and expressed their excitement about experiencing the vibrant academic atmosphere of IIM Jammu.
The visit proved to be an inspiring and memorable learning experience for the young participants. It also reaffirmed IIM Jammu’s commitment to educational outreach and community engagement by encouraging young minds to aspire for excellence and empowering them with meaningful exposure to higher education.
